Tom and his father "Big Tom" spend there days working at the family owned and operated Automotive Garage (TNT Repairs) in Pottstown, PA. Both are dedicated and loyal individuals to there customers as well as the racing team. "It's tough, but it's what I enjoy and it's what I want to do." - Tom
Racing has come naturally to the Scheetz family beginning 3 generations ago. Tom began his racing career driving Quarter Midget Racecars. Quarter Midget Racecars are a 1/4 scale racecar of a Midget racecar and have rear mounted 4hp motors with speeds capable of 75mph depending on class and gearing. The next step for Tom was a DA Asphalt Modified at Mahoning Valley Speedway. His first season at Mahoning Valley was a bit rocky. Tom's 2nd season was a big hit as he set a new track record and won many feature events. As time went on, the decision came to race a 358 Dirt Modified at Grandview Speedway and other local tracks. In the 2007 season at Grandview Speedway, Tom won his first Dirt Modified feature event.
Currently TNT Motorsports has 4 Dirt Modifieds. Our 2006 Teo chassis used at Grandview Speedway as our weekly primary car. We also have a 2007 Bicknell Chassis Big BLock car which is used for the Big Block events at various tracks that the team travels to. Our 2nd and 3rd bicknell cars are our backup cars which are 2007 chassis.
